Drug Test Liquid Flush (USMC MEPS)?
Don’t hate on me for smoking, I love to blaze but I’m over it now so don’t wana hear any speeches.

Joining the Marine Corps. I got my MEPS test in about a week. Even though it may or may not work (I’ve used it before) I took a super high Niacin dosage, so I have that to kind of lean on.

I wana make sure though because I’ve heard that it works and doesn’t work at times. Basically I was a pretty heavy smoker, sharing a blunt or two a day with friends, hitting my blue dot, and my one hitter a few times a day. Good news is I weigh like 140-145lbs. So I don’t have much body fat.

I’m really just askin I have like 7-9 days before this test, I know I should be pounding water but I like to have a planned schedule a day of how much I should drink and what I should drink.

So finally my question is, If I was a heavy smoker, I quit smoking 5 days ago, got my papers into the USMC, weigh about 145lbs and have a MEPS drug test in a couple days.

What should I be drinking and how much should I be drinking daily for the next week or so in order to flush my system and be good to go?

Any other practices or routines to help me pass would be awesome. I do have access to a sauna.

Problem with dog peeing when I come home?
Hello, I also have a Westie who is 5 years old. We just got her a couple weeks ago and she’s been a great dog. My problem is whenever I come home she pees a little. I try not to make a big deal about me coming home, trying to not make her excited. But as soon as I come by her she does it. Any ideas on this one?

She’s obviously very glad to see you and gets excited but seeing that she is 5 years old she really shouldn’t be doing this. (Puppies do because they don’t have control of their bladders yet)

She could have a bladder infection or other bladder problem. Check with your vet.

When you come home open up the door and let her out so she can pee outside. I would not get mad at her just not give her attention when she does that. We had a dog that we adopted that did that - although we think she was abused. She was a large dog so it was like a lake. When we came home we would squat down to her level and talk calmly to her and/or let her out when we opened the door.

Some dogs who urinate when they greet people may do so out of nervousness or excitement and scolding will always make the problem worse. Do not greet your pet right away. Ignore her until she settles down and then greet her.

It’s likely that she was reprimanded before when people arrived home. It’ll take some time, but she’ll get over it.

Your dog is either very excitable, very high strung and nervous, or perhaps even a little afraid of you. Your reaction to her when this happens is REALLY important.

It is possible that she is being left in the house for too LONG, anything more than 4 or 5 hours creates potential difficulties.

Perhaps her previous owner was unkind to her when she or he came home. When a dog has been in the house for 8 or 9 hours, it needs to go out immediately when you do get home. Some people IGNORE that fact. Perhaps her previous owner did.

She’s pretty new to you only having been with you for a couple of weeks, so when you DO come home, CALL her right through the door before you even OPEN the door, meet her right at the door if possible, or take her to the door immediately before she even has time to react to you, and take her outside, and praise her lavishly when she squats to pee outside.

You need to spend substantial time with your dog and if she pees in the house, tell her "pee OUTSIDE" and take her out into the yard immediately, do not scold her, hit her, or make a big deal about the dribble.

If you think she’s a great dog, she’s worth working with and correcting this problem. It’s most likely just nerves, with you being new to her, and her surroundings and people being new to her. At 5 years old, she’s pretty old to have been moved from one owner to another.

hi my dog does the same thing. so after i open the door i scoop her up and put her outside on her chain. she has a few accidents, but nothing for me to get upset about. at least she goes by the door i let her out of. she just get’s excited, and so does yours. but yeah if you can let her out before you step in the house. good luck.

She sounds like a submissive or excited pee-er ! My dog used to do this, so the minute I got home, I just go outside and the dog would follow me, then I would say go potty and when he did, I would praise him. I made sure at first , no eye contact, no talking, no petting. Just usher her outside to do her thing.

first of all are you sure she just does it when you first get home? I’m thinking maybe it’s a bladder problem she is a little old and maybe she’s done it once or twice that you haven’t seen,,maybe she just cant hold it (like me anymore) lol, Id talk to the vet and she what he has to say,it sounds like your getting a lot of good advice but maybe a vet may have some ideas were not thinking of: good luck

Oh Dear! Ferdinand As Captain, Acceptable Or Not?
Capello has done the right thing in removing Terry from the captaincy, but he’s given it to Ferdinand.

A similarly controversial figure if you ask me. Even he hasn’t been at his best, like when he marshalled the defense in United’s fabulous League and European double in 2008.
Although a better choice, I would have preferred it to have gone to either Lampard or Rooney. The latter may be too young, but he fights for his country and wears the national shirt with pride.

But I guess Ferdinand has the respect of his team-mates, so it’s up to him now to display the leadership qualities he did in 2008.

What a childish decision.
I used to see Capello as an intelligent manager who knows he should give the armband to the player with the best leadership ability on the pitch regardless of what he does in the bedroom.

I lost any respect I had for Terry after that story but in my opinion he’s still the best defender in the world and the best choice for England captaincy, although am not English and not entitled to comment on this.

how do i unjailbreak my iphone?
i got a 3g iphone yesterday. 2 hours ago the battery was fully charged. now i am down to 10 percent. i havent messed with the phone at all. it drains much faster when im texting, or using the net. is my battery draining because of the jailbreak? or do i just need a new battery? is there a way to safely unjailbreak my iphone without bricking it? also, its running on the 3.0 firmware. i want the 3.1.2 any advice would be helpful.
i bought it jailbroke, i didnt really know what it meant, ive had other iphones but never jailbroke ones. and honestly id rather not have it jailbroken because id rather have the latest updates. also, i read in the apple forums that jailbreaking does drian the battery. i even called milliamp.com (for battery replacement) and thats what they said as well.

There is no way to un-jailbreak your iPhone and you don’t have to worry, the battery does not somehow drain faster because you jailbroke it.

All you have to do is go into iTunes, click on the tab for your iPhone, and hit "Restore", this will restore your iPhone to factory settings. But if you encrypted iPhone backup (by checking the "Encrypt iPhone Backup" box near the restore button) you can restore your settings, the data from all of your apps, text messages, etc. after restoring.
After you do all of that than just put all of your music, videos, apps, etc. back on your iPhone through iTunes. Your iPhone is now un-jailbroken and running the new firmware 3.1.3!

Though I don’t think the battery problem is because of the jailbreak, if you have the external speaker on it tends to drain alot of battery. Headphones or mute makes the battery hold it’s charge longer.

Note: If "Encrypt iPhone Backup" is checked, iTunes will backup your iPhone everytime you plug it in.
