Come on guys, let it out. Don’t be shy. UFC fanboys, we’ll forgive you if you say it:
Fedor is and forever will be the King of MMA.
Assuming the lot of you have no professional fights under your belts, allow me to tell you that the pressure is at a different league compared to your highschool hallway fights.
Fedor’s record, although impressive, does not reflect his better aspect: Mindset.
It is only when you’ve experienced a true fight that you appreciate Fedor’s execution each fight.
Yes i love UFC but Fedor is and will always be the Emperor of MMA. He is the Last Emperor of MMA.

After watching last nights fight and a few of fedors previous I would say he is the top heavyweight in the world, though I dont see how he can keep that name considering the lack of depth in strikeforce’s heavyweight. The best is only the best when he can consistently beat the best and i don’t think he will have an opportunity to do so with strikeforce.
To say he is the king of MMA is ridicules, I love how CBS made it a point to say that 10 or so times during the broadcast and you bought right into. Pound for pound I would put him 3rd after Anderson and GSP.
Edit: Look i gave the man his props, by saying that strikeforce didnt have any depth just take a look at there website……. they list 8 Heavyweights one of them being a 47 year old Herschel Walker (what a joke btw) that never had a pro fight. Take a look at the line up over at ufc.com there are many more guys (25 or so) and a handful of those guys have real talent, im not going to get into who beats who Lesner or Fedor because as it stands now Fedor dosen’t want to be in the ufc. Here ya go…… Fedor is the most well rounded HW in the world, do I think he is unbeatable no. In any given pro fight the other fighter at least has a puncher chance of winning. Its going to be a huge shame if fedor never makes it into the ufc as I would love to see him face the "rest" of the best in the world.

Fedor has now beat two opponents who are at least 5 inches and 30 pounds bigger than he is… I kinda dismiss the Arlovski fight as a punch out of no where, but Fedor KO’d Rogers with a legit punch…and his arm bar on the 7 foot techno goliath proves he can finish it standing or grappling.. he has an iron chin and fought two UFC champions and has fought Couture level competition and won.. I love UFC and I love Fedor.. I ain’t ashamed.
edit CBS stressed it for the casual viewers who haven’t heard of Fedor, they had to build him up so they would know why the fans were going crazy, just like they had to explain how good the jujitsu clinic was that Miller and Sheilds (mostly miller) put on, otherwise to the casual fan it was boring, hence the boos from the people who just bought tickets to see Fedor.. even the Verdum fight was good.

I have issues with him he beat up two washed up UFC champ named Tim Sylvia and ArlovskiAndrei Arlovski. Just won against a dude who only has 11 matches total.
Your King of MMA is great at killing beginners or washed up Former UFC champs that Dana White does not even want in because they are washed up
At this point in his MMA career he is just trying to protect his record and took one hell of a beating to do so this time. Who is next for him the towel boy. They really don;t have much else.
You can’t be the best unless you fight the best out there and he has not in a long time

It’s interesting that people always talk about Strikeforce’s lack of HW depth.
That has always been the knock on the UFC division. There seems to be more talent coming down the road, but we don’t know how much of that is hype and how much is reality.
Is the fact that Fedor cleaned out a lot of ex-UFC champs a knock on him? Are all those guys actually posers, and not "real" HW talent? If so, what does that say about the fact that they ruled the UFC? Sylvia, yeah, he seems to have lost it, but how much of that was because of what Fedor did to him? When Randy beat him in the UFC, that was some big accomplishment, wasn’t it?
Fedor is the most complete fighter. Period. He wanted to take Rodgers down, but Rodgers was too strong. The fight remained standing, where Rodgers wanted it. And Fedor beat him in the standing game. Fedor has always been able to either find a way, or to beat people at their own game. He often looks like he may be beatable, but never actually is.
No doubt, the best HW now, and ever.

First of all I love the comment about the UFC fanboys.
Hahaha and i love that answer that was three before mine. WHO IS LEFT FOR FEDOR TO FIGHT? He has beaten all the best in their prime and he is 33 years old! He isn’t old for MMA, he’s in his prime! Who can he fight who he hasn’t beat? Lesnar? Brock Lesnar is a JOKE compared to the caliber of fighters Fedor has beaten. Sure maybe Rogers has only fought 11 professional events, but thats over twice as man as Brock Lesnar. and all the UFC fans are saying Lesnar is the best in the world? Fedor has the best resume of any fighter on the planet, his only loss was a BS stoppage because of a cut, he would have wont the fight because obviously cuts don’t stop him (See strikeforce:Fedor vs Rogers). So who is there for him to fight who is credible?
He has beaten the best, and all these new fighters in the UFC who wear their affliction shirt and roid up wouldn’t stand a chance against the guys fedor has already beaten in pride, m1, and other MMA venues. It doesn’t matter who Fedor fights anymore, there are no heavyweights on his level. Don’t hate because he is fighting the guys who aren’t the best when he has already proven himself by beating the best.He’s beaten the best, whose left?

There’s only ONE thing that matters. It’s beating the best. If you think Rogers is the best, then in your mind Fedor is the best. Records do not prove Fedor can beat Lesnar. Can he? Maybe…be we will never know. I don’t care if Fedor beats Rogers 3 times, that doesn’t prove he can beat the other top heavyweights.
However, if YOU feel that beating Rogers proves that he can beat Lesnar, then YES, Fedor is the best in your own mind.
